I swear, Glenn must have invented a computer virus that spreads through the internet yet infects people, because I too am now sick. It's currently nothing more than a head cold, and I'm hoping it doesn't get any worse.
So, have you ever heard of Vanuatu? Well, if you haven't, don't worry; I hadn't either. Turns out, the Republic of Vanuatu is a tiny nation in the South Pacific. You can read about it here, if you're interested. So why do I bring up Vanuatu in a discussion about health and sickness? Well, my health and well being is currently tied quite closely to Vanuatu. Given that with the life I've chosen for myself, I'm not likely to have health insurance any time soon, and given that I take two prescription medications (which yes, were indeed prescribed to me by a doctor; I'm not self-medicating), I have to get them from somewhere. I get them from an internet company based in Vanuatu, where they're half the price of getting them at a pharmacy in the US with no insurance. (I can't get them here in Korea either, in case you're wondering.) Wow, I was going to write more, but the NyQuil seems to be kicking in...

That's like people here getting meds from Canada.
Hope you feel better. (And I hope I don't get sick too!)
I actually used to get them from Canada, but Canada requires that you send proof of a prescription. Despite the fact that my doctor advised that I continue taking these meds for the rest of my life, the prescription (like any presc) was only good for one year. Since I didn't have health insurance, I didn't want to go to the doctor to get a new presc, thus Vanuatu, which only requires money.
oops! sorry guys! I signed on today to find out what the new topic was and just remembered that Glenn posted the sick thing so that means I'm up!
i'll come up with something by the end of the day (i hope)!
