This is an impression of me on coffee

Coffee. Caffeine, but specifically coffee. That's my addiction of choice. Put me in a dark room with no communication or entertainment, but slip me a single mocha with whip once or twice a day and we'll get along just fine.

Compared to many people, I don't drink too much coffee everyday, but it's still enough to give me a headache on the weekends if I don't have it. This may be a psychological reaction, although it's certainly one I'd like to stop because I seriously don't enjoy it. Some of my friends say all addictions are just psychological reactions, and maybe there's some truth to that. I don't know. But I do know that a soda does not have enough caffeine to keep the headaches away and that, as far as coffee goes, Dunkin Donuts has very little caffeine whereas Starbucks has too much. Yep, addiction is what keeps you coming back. But Starbucks coffee tastes like dirt, so I go most often to a local DC place called ME Swings right near the White House. It's probably the consistently best coffee I've ever had, and it has the friendliest baristas. If you're ever visiting DC, this place is worth the extra stop.

Also, caffeinated soap exists!

I consider books a compulsion, not an addiction. I enter a book store and feel almost obligated to find something I could take home, which isn’t really hard. It’s sort of like sending an 11-year-old girl into a pet store and telling her to leave with at least one cute, furry thing. My book shelves are full, and I’ve begun stacks on top of my speakers, on my headboard, and on the floor. And I freaking love it. Even if I can’t read all these books, I lovelovelove to surround myself with them. I’m Scrooge McDuck in the Money Bin; I just like to wallow.

I think in real life if one jumped heard first into a big vat of coins you'd probably break your neck.

Also, where the hell are Huey, Duey, and Louie's parents? They just let them go live with their abusive Uncle Donald or their economically repressive Uncle Scrooge? Or are they dead?

Also, I don't really drink very much coffee. I find that whenever I do, I sometimes am just nervous and angry all day long. So I pretty much stay away from it.

I too am addicted to collecting books but I think addiction is the wrong word, really addiction should only be attached to things that are detrimental to your health and wellbeing. Since reading is better for you than say watching T.V. it makes it the lesser of two evils in my book. but since it does cost money to buy books it could become an addiction since your compulsion to buy books could overcome your compulsion to lets say eat yeah that could be bad. Anyway if you have to have an addiction then collecting books is not so bad in my opinion. Its all about balance...and stuff.

Are books not food...for the soul?

There are those dudes... in that one place... who... eat books, right?
